Description:
The Romanian Gendarmerie (General Inspectorate of the Romanian Gendarmerie - IGJR) is the military structure with responsibilities in ensuring, maintaining and restoring public order and peace, transport and guarding of dangerous goods, goods and materials, as well as guarding and defending objectives of special importance. The Romanian gendarmerie is subordinated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
